Hike The Ranch
World class hiking is all around the ranch, whether you desire a simple hike around the 505 loop or a few hours huff and puff to the top of the Greenhorn that takes you to ridgelines with unparalleled views. Trails from the ranch lead to remote peaks, glacial lakes, and alpine meadows, taking you over hidden mountain passes and along roaring rivers. The area around Lake Isabel has remarkably clear hiking routes up nearly all the high peaks that can be undertaken either entirely on foot or mountain bikes.
The Ranch is surrounded by trails accessing unique opportunities to spot wildlife that inhabit this area such as mule deer, wild turkey, coyote, and an occasional bear.
Take a hike through an our meadows and trails and breathe in a patchwork of colors created by our endless wildflowers and rich foliage. Take your camera, binoculars and know that you won’t be disappointed.
YEEHAW: A few things to have on hand are a trail map, extra water and trail mix, sunscreen, sunglasses and a hat.

Want a few hours huff and puff to the top of the Greenhorn that takes you to ridgelines with unparalleled views. The area around Lake Isabel has remarkably clear hiking routes up the Greenhorn peaks that can be undertaken either entirely on foot or mountain bikes.

The Bartlett Trail #1310
The Bartlet Trail is long, very steep, and hugely scenic. With a length of over 12 miles, this hike dramatically climbs from 8,000 to 11,580 feet in elevation and opens up to astounding views of Greenhorn Mountain, the Greenhorn Wilderness, and the Eastern Plains.
If you want to complete the whole thing, you’ll need to have a decent amount of hiking and experience under your belt for this one.
